爱心蚂蚁赴梓潼支教志愿者招募 ("Aixinmayi" recruiting Teaching Volunteers needed in Zitong)
四川省梓潼县是2008年“5。12”地震的重灾区之一，全县50所学校现在都在重建当中。由于梓潼地震中死亡人数不多，并没有引起外界更多的关注，所以该县的外来援助也相当有限，然而，人员的伤亡不大并不说明地震的影响不大，这里的房屋一样的被无情摧毁。
小垭小学、建兴小学和双峰小学都是地处浅丘贫困山区的乡村小学，闭塞而又偏远。三个学校的适龄学生都在200至300多名，孩子们除了接受基本的教材学习外，没有其他的学习途径，由于师资的匮乏和师资年龄的老化，使得孩子们缺乏音乐、体育、美术、英语等方面的学习。落后的教学条件在地震后不仅没有任何的改善，反而雪上加霜。
目前，我们众多的爱心机构和爱心人士的帮助 下，在小垭小学、建兴小学和双峰小学捐建了三个图书室，为这里的孩子们提供一些拓展眼界、增长知识的窗口。目前，每个图书室拥有各类书籍1300多册，对于200至300多名孩子的学校来讲，仅仅把图书留下来还不是我们最好的帮助方式，通过图书室，我们希望能巩固、加深孩子们对课本知识的理解，能扩大孩子们的知识面，激发孩子们的学习兴趣，培养孩子们的阅读能力、分析能力、理解能力，提高孩子们的学习自觉性和质量。给孩子们架起一座通向外部的桥梁，给孩子们打开一个认识世界的窗口。也通过积极的引导、主动的读书交流、引进外部的先进理念等多种方式，将图书室和我们支教的作用发挥出来。
我们也希望能通过这个公益活动，让学校和学生真正感觉到社会对教育的关注，让孩子们看到希望，并 充满对未来的美好向往。
图书是硬件，而我们的支教行动就是软件，由于支教活动是一个长期的不能间断的过程，所以小垭小学爱心图书室将长期招募支教义工。
支教义工的支教时间至少需要一个月以上，能适应当地比较简陋的生活条件，具备基本的知识水平均可参加进来。
我们还希望社会各界的爱心人士能捐助一些小学生的图书读物、玩具、文具和衣服鞋帽等物资。

Zitong county in Sichuan Province was one of the disaster sites of “5.12” 2008. There are 50 schools that are in the process of being rebuilt. Because there weren’t many deaths in Zitong, and thus there wasn’t very much outside attention paid to this area, the support given to the county has been extremely limited. Just because there weren’t many deaths doesn’t mean that the impact of the earthquake was small; buildings here were destroyed in the same unforgiving manner.
Xiaoya, Jianxing, and Shuangfeng primary schools are all village schools located in the poor mountainous areas of Qianqiu – both remote and closed off. The three schools total around 200 to 300 students. Other than the basic study materials, students have no other channels for learning; due to a deficiency and old age of teachers, the children are lacking music, sports, art, English and other subjects of study. After the earthquake, not only did the backward educational requirements not improve, but they actually worsened.
Recently, with that help of our institution and workers, the three primary schools have had three new libraries built, in order to expand the boundaries of these children and open up a window of knowledge. Each library has more than 1300 books of various subjects. For these 200-300 students, just leaving a library is not the best form of help; using the library, we hope to solidify and deepen the childrens’ understanding of textbook knowledge, expand the bounds of their knowledge, stimulate their interests and cultivate their reading, analysis, and comprehension ability, raise the quality of study and increase their ability to self-study.
We are creating a bridge for these students to the outside world – opening a window to get to know the world. Through active leadership, voluntary reading exchange, by bringing in forward thinking concepts and other methods, we will bring out the best of our teachers and library.
We hope that through this public welfare activity we can help the school and students feel the importance of education in society and let these students see hope for a full and bright future.
Books are the hardware and our teaching is the software. As the teaching activity is a long-term process that cannot afford interruptions, Xiaoya primary school’s library will be looking constantly looking for volunteer teachers.
The minimum time for volunteer teaching is a month, must be able to adapt to the simple local living conditions; those that hold a basic knowledge level can join.
We also hope that other lovely caring people in society could donate reading materials, toys, stationary, or clothes, shoes, hats etc for these primary school students. We need your help, so please look into your caring heart, and together build a new life for these children.
