地震发生时，我正坐在教室里准备上课。突然掉在天花板上的投影仪轻微地摇晃起来了，大家心里都有些隐隐的担心——不会是地震了吧。后来才知道是相邻的四川发生了大地震，昆明只是有震感罢了。但当时内心的恐惧却是那般真实，简直无法想象亲历这场大灾难的人所面对的怎样的黑暗与绝望。之后又在新闻上看到倾倒的房屋，操场上排列了一排又一排的书包，被压在石板下的等待救援的人们。进入大学后，与我同寝室的由一个从绵阳来的同学，她说她刚来时每天早上五点就会惊醒，一位地震又来了。我突然意识到，地震虽然结束了，但它留给人们的阴影与恐慌却没有结束。于是，我便产生了到灾区，了解他们的实际状况，尽自己的能力帮助他们。尤其想让重灾区的那些孩子们看到外面的世界，重建他们对美好生活的追求与信心。
